this may look as though I snapped it at 4a after being woken up by a little girl. The sad truth is that while I may have been woken up at 5.30a (I don't remember now but it certainly wasn't 4), but I actually took this around 9.15a, so there's no excuse for that visible exhaustion ....

1/19/2012 - ice day!

a reflection:


This morning we had freezing rain on top of yesterday's 4+ inches of snow. Which meant a mess of a commute, but as I was taking the water taxi, it just meant a careful walk down to and onto (the ramps were the slickest part of the walk) the boat.

I took this picture as I was walking back to the dock on my way home this afternoon. Lots of snow falling around me. A bonus photo as proof:
