2/12/14 - surf contemplation

surf-watching

Immediately after starting a new job, I went home to see Mom. My sister K went with me. I sat and watched the surf. We also stained Mom's deck and screwed down loose boards. The usual vacation stuff.

(Now! With More Bonus Pictures!!!)

mom, sister and me
crater rim parking lot

I discovered my older sister hadn't been up to the top of the mountain for 20+ years, so we went. And Mom asked if she could come too. So we all went. And it was quiet and beautiful and a nice way to spend the afternoon away from the necessities and distractions of down country.
