this may look as though I snapped it at 4a after being woken up by a little girl. The sad truth is that while I may have been woken up at 5.30a (I don't remember now but it certainly wasn't 4), but I actually took this around 9.15a, so there's no excuse for that visible exhaustion ....

note: i went to bed about 9.30pm, was woken at 11.30p by the fireworks starting, managed to get back to sleep maybe an hour later.... so blame it all on my cold!
